About Patty
I’ve always believed that creativity becomes magic when it connects people. For most of my life, I’ve been someone who listens deeply, cares fiercely, and pours my heart into the things I make — whether it’s relationships, writing, or the jewelry that now fills my days with joy.
Mah-Jongg has a special place in my heart because it connects me to my mother. She played three times a week, faithfully, joyfully, and with a group of women who practically became family. And yet — she never let me watch. It was her sacred time, her social world, her space to laugh and play and be herself.
As a little girl, I always wanted to peek over her shoulder and see what the mystery was all about.
As an adult, when I started creating Mah-Jongg bracelets, I finally felt like I had been allowed into the world she loved so much.
Every Bakelite, Bone, and Bamboo bracelet I make feels like a small tribute to her — to the colors, the tiles, the rituals, and the memories I didn’t get to witness firsthand but grew up feeling all around me.
Every piece I create is handcrafted by me — no mass production, no shortcuts. I choose the tiles, pair the beads, and assemble each bracelet so it feels special, intentional, and personal. I want every woman who wears one to feel a spark of connection — to the game, to nostalgia, to joy, or simply to herself.
This business has become a new chapter in my life — one filled with creativity, confidence, and rediscovered happiness. Thank you for being here and supporting something that means so much to me.
You’re not just buying jewelry — you’re helping me carry a piece of my mother forward in the most beautiful way.
With gratitude,
Patty
